Shipping rate is directly calculated by the carriers and is subject to change. Typically, shipping carriers in the USA update their rates and services at the beginning of each calendar year.
We collect state, county and city taxes when shipping within Colorado. For the other states in the USA, we are required to collect state taxes when our shipments reach certain quantities and/or values. We already reached the thresholds for several states and started collecting state taxes when shipping to these states.
TOTAL DELIVERY TIME
Total Delivery Time (from customer receiving order confirmation to customer receiving the package) = Fulfillment Time + Carrier Acceptance Time + Carrier Delivery Time.
FULFILLMENT TIME, SHIPPING CONFIRMATION
This is the time we need to process an order prior to its shipment. Fulfillment time is subject to change. We do our best to estimate fulfillment time at the checkout.
Upon fulfillment, we send an email that the shipment is on the way with a tracking number.
If you wish to pick up at our Boulder location, please write "Local Pickup" in the Notes on the Cart page or email us before we fulfill. After you pick up, we will refund you the shipping. If you do not pickup within one week after the order is ready, we will ship to your address.
For destinations within the USA (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico), we ship using United States Postal Service (USPS).
Once a package is picked up by the carrier, it is out of our control.
USPS does not guarantee First Class Package or Priority Mail delivery times. USPS typically takes five to seven business days but in some cases, two weeks or longer to deliver a First Class Package from the time of USPS acceptance.
We apologize for not shipping internationally at this time. Over the period between late 2020 through 2021, our shipments to international destinations have experienced long and uncertain delivery times because of USPS service disruptions, unpredictable hold-ups or returns at foreign customs, and heavy import taxes/fees imposed on recipients upon delivery.
Once the tracking shows "Delivered", we cannot be held responsible if the package is not received.
Sometimes, a USPS package may show as 'Delivered' but could take additional 24 hours to arrive. If it has been over 24 hours from the "Delivered" status, you could send a service request by email to your local Post Office™ facility for follow-up.
For shipping related issues, please contact email@example.com within 15 calendar days from the time of shipping confirmation. This is because shipping carriers only take inquiries or claims within a short period of time from the shipping date, beyond which the shipping carriers will not be able to resolve shipping issues or even keep the tracking information.
